At Allaman Carpet Cleaning we get lots of things out of floors. Whether it’s just dust, dirt, and grime from carpets or something more difficult like kool-aid or slime to oil residue from cooking in a kitchen on tile and grout-we do it all!
The most notably difficult thing to remove from tile floors is commercial floor products like mop n glo or wax, neither of which should probably ever be used in the first place. Why? For many reasons, one of which is Mop n Glo actually has some of the same ingredients as polyurethane like acrylic polymers, which are essentially plastic particles or solids in the finish. Why is that so hard to remove? Because it doesn’t rinse off easily, it adheres very well! Polyurethane needs to be stripped or sanded so it only makes sense that a “cleaner” with some of those ingredients would be difficult to remove. When cleaning Tile and Grout, it just takes more effort to get it out. Sometimes it needs to be agitated a little more but Allaman Carpet Cleaning can get it out! (So far)
Wax is a whole other deal, the wax is actually natural and is generally derived from carnauba wax, a wax that is extracted from the leaves of Brazilian palm trees. Normally stripper is needed to remove from any surface including tile and grout (although rare in tile and grout cleaning except saltillo) then it can be cleaned.
