Carpet, Tile & Upholstery Cleaning Equipment
Truck Mounted vs Portable Cleaning Unit
I often get asked what type of equipment I use. I use a Hydramaster Titan 575 truck-mounted unit for cleaning carpet, tile, and upholstery in Arizona. We purchased a brand new unit along with a new work van to mount it, in 2020 so our equipment is new. There was nothing wrong with our old equipment; we just wanted an upgrade to continue providing the best possible carpet, tile, grout and upholstery cleaning service available in the Phoenix Valley including Litchfield Park, Goodyear, Avondale, Buckeye, Verrado, Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Waddell, Estrella, Palm Valley, El Mirage, Tolleson, and Westbrook Village, in Maricopa County, AZ. We also provide our carpet, tile and upholstery cleaning services in Prescott, Prescott Valley, and Yavapai County, Arizona.

Truck Mounted Cleaning Equipment
The advantage of a high-powered truck-mounted carpet and tile cleaning unit is its power, water pressure (PSI), and higher water temperature for superior steam cleaning. It does a much better quality cleaning and extraction performance than a portable unit.
The downside of truck-mounted: very expensive and can only go so far from the truck or van, depending on how long your feed and extraction hoses are.

Portable Cleaning Unit
The Advantage of a portable cleaning unit is, well, the portability! It’s easy to move around with you and reach faraway spaces you might not be able to reach with a truck-mounted unit.
The disadvantage is a portable cleaning unit is not going to do nearly as good of cleaning or water extraction, leaving your carpets and floors with a soap residue and wetter than the powerful truck-mounted unit.
