VCT or Vinyl Composite Tile floor needs to have a wax coating to protect it from wear. Allaman Carpet and Tile Cleaning not only does carpet cleaning and tile& grout cleaning but we also apply wax to VCT. When VCT is new it needs a light cleaning and wax applied to the floor, we can help you with that. There are many options for floors once they have wax on them. Sometimes if a long time has passed since any maintenance has been done a strip and wax is in order. That is when we apply a stripper to the floor and take it down to bare VCT and re-coat it with wax. There are several stages to this process with the end result your VCT Tile floors looking brand new!
Regular maintenance of VCT tile floors is recommended between strip and wax re-coats. Maintenance options are scrub and wax and/or burnishing and Allaman Carpet Cleaning provides both! Often in between strip and wax re-coats we will scrub it with a neutral cleaner and then apply new coats of wax.
